In honor of Berte's 5 Year Anniversary, we collaborated with Heather Long of Days Eye Ceramics on this spray painted mug with abstract shaped reliefs on the clay body exterior. Since each mug is spray painted by hand, no two are the same, making for an incredibly special drinking experience. We simply love the look and hand feel of these beauties.
Artist Statement: Lately I’ve been thinking about new ways to create interesting textured ceramic surfaces. Cutting out shapes and layering them on top of each mug form felt very much like collage to me, which is a process I’ve always enjoyed. The spray painted colours are vivid and playful - fitting for Berte’s anniversary celebrations!

- Hand built with white stoneware, spray painted in shades of orange and blue, handmade reliefs of abstract shapes and a glossy clear glaze on the exterior.

- Food safe glaze. Hand washing is recommended for all ceramic wares to give them the longest life possible!
