These stud earrings were originally hand-carved in wax to mimic the rosettes from Cleopatra’s Egypt. Ra, the ancient Egyptian sun god, was born from a lotus flower with 8 petals, linking the rosette motif to the sun and representing its same cycles of birth (sunrise), death (sunset), and new life (the next day’s sunrise).
Each is slightly textured with a worn, semi-matte finish, and cast in recycled brass or sterling silver. They pair well with most any outfit and will easily become everyday favorites.
