The 8-petaled rosette was connected to the Egyptian sun god, Ra, granting the power of divine protection. Egyptian gods, goddesses, and pharaohs, wore them in jewelry, in their crowns, and even in their hair.
The charms, cast in recycled brass, were originally carved in wax to give them a bit of texture and make them feel more like ancient pieces. We especially love that the rosette is both a beautiful, timeless shape and also a subtle way to hoard some good luck for yourself.
